Off to Paris
Today we said goodbye to Mont-Saint-Michel. But first, breakfast crepes (chocolate for Bill and apricot for Karen) on our balcony enjoying the view.
Next, down we went with our luggage 100 steps and a couple downward slopping walkways before reaching the cobble stone walkway below.
After walking another 500 yards from the mont entrance, we met the free shuttle to our bus stop. The bus ride was 1 1/4 hrs to the train station. Because the bus was running late, we only had a few minutes to catch the train to Paris. Obviously the good Lord was watching out for us once again as we arrived at the same time the train arrived...and they only stop for a couple minutes!
We are now in Paris until Friday at the Marriott Renaissance. More to come.

Lots of steps we had to climb with our luggage.
Some of the remaining steps we used to get to our room.
