Snorkeling in the Rain
As we stepped off the ship this morning, we stopped for a beauty shot before meeting our Catamaran and Snorkel tour group. Yes, snorkeling again.
After 30-minutes we reached this small island where we anchored offshore. As Bill and the others got into the water and began to snorkel, the rain started. But no big deal, they were wet and did not even notice the rain other than hearing it bounce off the water. Once again we saw many beautiful fish in the reef.
We meet the group and boarded the Catamaran and cruised around the island of Raiatea.
Our Catamaran coming to pick us up.

Karen stayed onboard this time and took this picture of a pearl farm as it began to rain.
Bill and the other snorkels were not unaware of the storm surrounding us.
If you don't like the rain in the South Pacific, wait 15-minutes and the sun is back! And it was.
Karen enjoying the scenery as we cruise back to our ship.
As we approached the ship, our catamaran host (who is from Moorea) entertained us by dancing to her Polynesian music. BTW - the temperature is a delightful 85 degrees with mild winds.
After lunch, Karen wanted to check out a couple stores. So off we went looking for that special gift or two.
After shopping, we went to the ships library to relax and put together todays blog.
Late afternoon and a game of golf. The Oceania has an 18-hole putting golf course and a netted driving range. In addition to the shuffle board and croquet, they also have a pickle ball court.
18-holes plus driving range before dinner (no range pictures). Guess who won.
