Cruising the North Atlantic

Today as we cruise on the Norwegian Sea/North Atlantic to Torshavn, Faroe Islands, the sea is calm and smooth with light rain and 54 degrees.

Exciting picture, right?

While in Iceland, the time difference to the west coast was 7-hrs. Tomorrow the difference will be 8-hrs and on Friday, when we arrive Norway, the time difference will be 9-hrs.

A sea day is a lazy day. We woke up late (plus the hour time change) and grabbed a chocolate croissant at 10 am. The we did some laundry, some walking, started working on the blog, part 2 and had a late lunch. After lunch, Karen went for her spa treatment while Bill continued finalizing yesterday's blog and published it. Next, afternoon tea.

Prior to dinner, we were invited to attend the Explorer's Society for guests who have sailed with Viking before to mark the occasion with a celebratory toast.

Champagne Toast

And we enjoyed listening to the piano and violin in the ships atrium.

And that's All Folks for the sea day!
